THE CURRICULUM

01FOUNDATION

Basics / Fundamentals

This beginner-friendly class is designed to introduce students to the fundamental techniques and principles of Muay Thai. Whether you are completely new to martial arts or looking to build a stronger foundation, this class will focus on proper stance, footwork, balance, defense, and the core striking techniques of Muay Thai, including punches, kicks, knees, and elbows.

02PROGRESS

Intermediate

This class is designed for individuals who have a solid understanding of Muay Thai fundamentals and are ready to take their skills to the next level. The focus is on developing timing, technique, conditioning, and fight-specific skills through high-volume drilling and structured bag work. Individuals will work on offensive and defensive combinations, counters, footwork, ring movement, and situational drills designed to improve fluidity and execution under pressure. Heavy bag rounds will emphasize power, endurance, balance, and proper technique while reinforcing the skills learned during partner drills.

03PERFORMANCE

Strength & Conditioning

This Strength & Conditioning class is designed to improve overall fitness, power, endurance, and athletic performance through functional movement training. Using proper body mechanics and kettlebell-based exercises, participants will develop strength, stability, coordination, and mobility while learning safe and efficient movement patterns. Workouts combine dynamic drills, kettlebell training, and full-body conditioning to build a stronger, more resilient body that translates to everyday life and athletic performance.

03Master

Advanced

This advanced Muay Thai class is designed for experienced practitioners looking to sharpen their technical skills and fight IQ. Athletes will develop timing, accuracy, power, and defensive awareness through structured pad work, partner drills, and controlled sparring. Emphasis is placed on applying techniques in realistic situations, improving ring strategy, and building the conditioning needed for competition. Participants should have a strong foundation in Muay Thai fundamentals and be prepared for a challenging, high-intensity training environment.

Private Sessions

Our private training sessions are tailored to each individual’s goals, experience level, and athletic needs. Whether you’re looking to improve strength, athletic performance, combat sports skills, or overall fitness, our coaches provide personalized instruction and programming to help you achieve results. Strength Training: Build functional strength, power, and endurance through customized workouts designed to improve performance, body composition, and overall physical health. Agility Training: Enhance speed, coordination, balance, reaction time, and athletic movement patterns through sport-specific drills and exercises. Muay Thai Training: Develop striking technique, footwork, pad work, defensive skills, conditioning, and fight strategy with one-on-one coaching suitable for beginners through advanced competitors. Grappling Training: Improve takedowns, positional control, submissions, escapes, and overall grappling fundamentals through personalized instruction tailored to your skill level and goals. Each session is designed to provide focused coaching, measurable progress, and a training experience that helps you perform at your highest level.

05GRAPPLING

JiuJitsu

This American Jiu-Jitsu class focuses on developing practical grappling skills through high-volume drilling and live application. Training emphasizes wrestling, takedowns, positional control, transitions, and submission grappling in a fast-paced, skill-building environment. Students will spend the majority of class refining techniques through structured partner drills designed to improve timing, movement, and muscle memory before applying them in situational training. Whether your goal is competition, self-defense, or becoming a more complete grappler, this class provides a strong foundation in wrestling-based grappling and modern submission techniques while building conditioning, confidence, and mat awareness.

06COMPETITIVE

Fight Team

Our Fight Team class is an elite, invite-only training program designed for active amateur and professional competitors. This high-level session focuses on advanced skill development, fight strategy, conditioning, sparring, pad work, drilling, and competition-specific preparation. Athletes train in a challenging and professional environment alongside other dedicated fighters who are committed to reaching their highest potential. Participation is limited to approved athletes who demonstrate the skill level, work ethic, and commitment required to represent the team in competition. This class is intended for those actively pursuing amateur or professional competition and serves as the foundation for fight camp preparation and ongoing athlete development.

The Fundamentals class is where every journey begins at OCMT. You'll learn proper stance, footwork, basic strikes, and defensive fundamentals in a welcoming environment. No experience necessary — just show up.

Classes run 60 minutes and are offered Monday through Friday with multiple time slots to fit your schedule.
